I still remember my first visit to the Cinque Terre and how awe-struck I was by its beauty. It was my first trip to Italy and my travel agent suggested I add the Cinque Terre to my itinerary. I had never even heard of it! But when I arrived.…it was love at first sight! One year later I was living here….and fifteen years later, I'm still in awe and still in love :)

Renowned for its incredible beauty and picturesque coastline, the Cinque Terre (pronounced “cheen-kweh teh-rreh”) is a must-see from the sea. The view from the sea is absolutely breathtaking and it is why, no matter how many tours we do, we remain in awe (with you) every time we go out. Only from the sea can you really grasp the true essence of these villages and understand why the Cinque Terre is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site..

    “We had an amazing time with Bel Mar Boat Tours! The boat was beautiful and Gian expertly guided us to each terre so we could take in the views while Federico offered some historical background to the area. They also insisted that the time we were on the boat was ours and we could spend it however we pleased. They offered a delicious spread of local food and we were close to drinking them dry (7 bottles later). We also got to meet Brenda after and she was so warm and pleasant. Overall 10/10 and would recommend this trip to anyone.”

    “Favourite thing we did in Cinque Terre! The views were all so beautiful and the hospitality on the boat was A+. The snacks provided were delicious and our great host was so knowledgeable and helpful (she didn’t mind continually filling up our prosecco!) We were so happy to be on a smaller more intimate boat and enjoyed getting to know the others with us. The swimming spots were beautiful and you had plenty of time. 10/10 book this tour!! (we did the daytime one FYI)”

    “We had a wonderful afternoon on our trip!! The boat was very comfortable and we cruised along the coast seeing all 5 villages, stopping for a long swim, followed by prosecco and delicious aperitivo on the boat as we cruised back.

    The host was very knowledgeable about the region; we really enjoyed speaking with her - and she kept our prosecco topped up very nicely!! It was very relaxing and unhurried, a highlight of our few days on the Cinque Terre - highly recommended!!”
